In December 2025, The Noella Foundation delivered the third edition of the Be Empowered Programme, a flagship initiative designed to strengthen and scale women-led businesses. This edition focused on women entrepreneurs based in Abuja, combining structured business development with direct financial investment to support long-term enterprise growth. The programme also featured engagement from distinguished speakers including Shaffy Bello, Charles O. Odii, and Sarah Amana, who shared insights and inspired participants through their experiences.
The programme ended with a four-week virtual bootcamp, intentionally designed to deepen business clarity, strengthen financial discipline, and refine growth strategies. Participants were guided through practical modules covering business structure, customer experience, financial management, and sustainability, supported by accountability frameworks and actionable tools to help them build more resilient and scalable businesses.
At the conclusion of the programme, The Noella Foundation disbursed ₦70 million in business grants to selected women entrepreneurs. These grants served as support for these business owners to Start, Sustain or Scale their businesses, enabling participants, creating employment opportunities, and deepening their economic impact within their communities.
As the initiative evolves, Be Empowered remains a core pillar of The Noella Foundation’s empowerment work, reinforcing a simple but powerful belief: when women are properly equipped and funded, businesses grow, families are strengthened, and communities thrive.
