The Noella Foundation proudly launched the first edition of “Be Empowered,” a transformative summit designed to support and elevate the aspirations of Nigerian women entrepreneurs. Spearheaded by Mrs. Layal Jade Tinubu, Co-Founder and Director of the Foundation, the event was a celebration of vision, resilience, and enterprise.
The summit opened with a dynamic keynote address from Adaora Mbelu, Chief Storyteller and Creator, who set a powerful tone for the day. The event featured a lineup of accomplished speakers, including Teni Sagoe (Creative Director), Tejumade Tejuoso (Social Impact Consultant), and Nonye Udeogu (Content Creator), each offering invaluable insights on business growth and sustainability.
“Be Empowered” emerged as a cornerstone initiative—equipping young women in business with practical tools, guidance, and the inspiration needed to grow and thrive. As a highlight of the event, 14 outstanding women entrepreneurs were awarded a shared grant of 40 million Naira to further their ventures, marking a significant step in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Guided by the Foundation’s vision, this summit underscored the transformative impact of investing in women and building a future where every female entrepreneur has the support she needs to succeed.
