In continuation of its mission to promote food security and community well-being, Noella Foundation carried out multiple food distribution outreaches across Lagos State in 2024, supporting thousands of households with essential supplies. Each initiative reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to ensuring that every family has access to nutritious food and sustained support.
Noella Foundation’s food outreach programs delivered more than just food,they fostered hope, dignity, and unity across communities. The outreach extended to locations including Oworonshoki, Ajegunle, Bariga, Ijede, and more.
Oworonshoki
On March 29, 2024, Noella Foundation extended its food relief efforts to Oworonshoki, a vibrant and resilient community in Lagos. The outreach was an opportunity to connect directly with residents and offer support through the distribution of essential food items such as semolina, tomato paste, spaghetti, rice, beans, and more, a continued expression of care and shared humanity.
Ajegunle
On April 12, 2024, the food distribution held at the Ajegunle Palace brought together tradition and compassion in a meaningful show of community strength. With the support of palace authorities and local leaders, the outreach reinforced a spirit of unity and shared responsibility. Rooted in grassroots collaboration, households received thoughtfully curated food packages designed to support their well-being for an extended period.
Bariga
On August 22, 2024, the Foundation visited Bariga, a vibrant urban community known for its resilience and spirit. Residents welcomed the outreach warmly, as a wide variety of food items were distributed to support families and promote well-being.
Each bag was thoughtfully packed with essential food items, reflecting Noella Foundation’s commitment to strengthening communities and nurturing collective care.
Ijede
On November 8, 2024, Noella Foundation extended its outreach efforts to Ijede, where over 500 families received thoughtfully curated packages containing rice, yams, beans, garri, spaghetti, and other essential food items. Coming just before the festive season, the distribution fostered joy and a strong sense of care and connection within the community, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to inclusive, compassionate service.
