Noella Foundation Hosts Maternity Outreach in Ajegunle to Champion Maternal Well-being

As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing maternal health, the Noella Foundation, in partnership with the Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government, hosted a maternity outreach on February 1, 2024, at Akere Primary Health Care Centre (Akere PHC) in Ajegunle, Lagos State. This initiative aimed to provide education, resources, and care that support a safe and healthy pregnancy journey for expectant mothers.
The event welcomed notable dignitaries including Honourable Lucky Idowu, Vice Chairman of Ajeromi Ifelodun LGA, and Dr. Ahmad-Bello Aminat, Medical Director of Health—underscoring the collective commitment to strengthening healthcare access at the grassroots level.
Dr. Elizabeth Obayomi, a respected voice in maternity and women’s health, led an engaging session on safe delivery practices and maternal wellness. She was joined by Dr. Odukowoye, who emphasized preventive care strategies essential to a healthy pregnancy.
To complement the day’s learning, attendees received thoughtfully curated care packages with essential baby items and food supplies, reinforcing Noella Foundation’s belief in supporting mothers holistically.
