In partnership with Leading Ladies Africa, the Noella Foundation hosted an impactful edition of the Girls in Leadership Program (GILP), themed “Our Voice, Our Future.” This vibrant event brought together over two hundred bright and driven young girls from diverse backgrounds for a day of learning, empowerment, and celebration.
GILP is a transformative leadership and mentorship initiative designed to equip participants with the confidence, knowledge, and skills to grow into influential leaders and changemakers. Through engaging debates among secondary school students, and sessions on leadership, sustainability, self-confidence, and personal development, the program fostered bold thinking and inspired personal growth.
The event also featured joyful dance breaks and a celebratory awards segment. Debate winners received full scholarship prizes, with additional scholarships awarded to other outstanding participants—underscoring the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing future female leaders.
