On 17 July 2026, Noella Foundation hosted 500 final-year students from tertiary institutions across Lagos State at the 2026 Life After School Summit (LAS 2026), held at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The summit reinforced the Foundation’s commitment to youth employability by equipping participants with practical knowledge, exposure and confidence for the transition from school into the world of work.
Participants received complimentary professional headshots and took part in practical learning sessions focused on recruitment processes, personal branding, interview preparation, and succeeding in remote and hybrid work environments. Digital learning resources were also provided to support continued development beyond the summit.
The Foundation’s Chairman, Mr. Seyi Tinubu, and Co-Founder, Mrs. Layal Tinubu, reinforced the importance of personal growth, practical exposure and purposeful preparation for life beyond school. The summit also featured keynote addresses, fireside conversations and panel discussions with Mohammed Usman Abdul-Razaq, Mo Abudu, Wale Oyedeji, Somachi Chris-Asoluka, Sim Shagaya, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Tola Akerele, Bucci Franklin, Dr. Tunji Alausa, Comrade Ayodele Olawande and Jumoke Oduwole, who shared insights on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and career development.
To extend the impact of the summit, 300 top-performing participants progressed to a four-week Post-LAS Bootcamp running across four Saturdays from 1–22 August 2026. The programme is designed to deepen learning through advanced training and closer engagement with industry professionals, while selected participants will also receive educational grants to acquire professional skills that strengthen their employability and entrepreneurial capacity.
The Bootcamp will also feature a newly introduced AI training component, broadening participants’ exposure to emerging skills and reflecting the growing relevance of artificial intelligence in today’s workplace.
Through LAS 2026 and its post-summit interventions, Noella Foundation continues to bridge the gap between education and opportunity, supporting young Nigerians with the skills, networks and confidence required to build meaningful and future-ready careers.
