At Noella Foundation, we believe in the importance of supporting and uplifting marginalized members of our community, including elderly widows. Collaborating with Kosofe Local Government, we hosted a heartwarming outreach event on February 16th specifically for elderly widows in need. We were pleased to have with us Honorable Moyosore Ogunlewe, Mr. Segun Babatunde, and Alhaji Kehinde Bello. Recognizing their immediate struggles, we distributed essential supplies to 250 attendees, a gesture of solidarity and care for these strong women. But our vision extended further. We believe in empowering the future generation, so we took the impactful step of sponsoring one child from each widow’s family for school. This sponsorship unlocks access to education, a powerful tool that can break cycles of poverty. By investing in education, we’re not just helping the widows themselves, but fostering brighter futures for their entire families. This event exemplifies the heart of Noella Foundation – compassion in action. Through collaboration and a focus on education, we demonstrated the power of community in uplifting those who need it most.
